Wow! The 2015 Outing in June was a tremendous success on so many levels!
Golf dominated the day with 250 golfers at Huntington Country Club and Huntington Crescent Club. There was also a strong showing of tennis players that filled the courts at the Lloyd Neck Bath Club and an equally enthusiastic group used Ray’s Room for a fun afternoon of bridge. The volunteers and board members were instrumental in making all of the different activities happen so seamlessly in so many different locations.

Sponsorships and auction items were the cornerstone of the success. We were extraordinarily fortunate and grateful to have “Lucky to Live Here Realty” as this years event sponsor. The generosity of all the sponsors was incredible and if that is a measure of growth and belief in this project, together we are on the right track!
More importantly, everyone involved with the Foundation is so thankful to the community and beyond for setting one Monday in June aside to remember T.J., honor his legacy and support research. The love in the air that day was quite emotional. We know T.J. would be so pleased that everyone is joining together in his name to tackle the lack of research so commonly found in rare cancers.
Thanks to our friend and resident photographer, Bob Kopprasch, the first photo drone flew over Huntington Country Club. The enormous view of the Outing was majestic!
